Comment #2 I don't know the Texas laws. In Florida..... It is illegal to dump piss or poop overboard. But, it is LEGAL to piss or poop over the rail. I heard that from SENATOR Marco Rubio when he called in to my friend's fishing talk radio show. Personally??? In the middle of a bay or ocean with current and tides, seems harmless. In a marina? That would be uncool. In a fresh water river where algae bloom kills fish... especially in the summer.... extra uncool.
Hello, this is really interesting information. So you can pee overboard, but if you pee in a bottle and dump it overboard, that's illegal, lol - that's crazy but I believe it. I would never poo in the water and hope no one else does in our waterways, just hate to run into that!. Thanks for the info, I had no idea this was the case. Thanks also for watching!
@@ChristopherQuest IN FLORIDA.... They don't call us Flori-DUH for nothing...
I was a R.N. for 25 years. I had a patient who was an outboard engineer. He said he worked mostly for Mercury but worked for OMC, too. I asked the expected life of my Mercury 2 stroke 25 hp. He didn't even hesitate. .... "6,000 hours. We put them on a stand. Hook up fuel. Put lower unit in water. Then, run them until they blow. 5,000 to 6,000 minimum." After I met him.... I no longer cared about "hours." I only cared about the "type" of hours. Did the previous owner keep up with maintenance???? The most dangerous thing for an outboard is sitting. Run it, and it will never die. If you did The Great Loop, which is 5,000 miles ... And did it at 10 mph... that's only 500 hours. At 15 mph? 333 hours.... That gives you an idea how much life that engine has.... if you do maintenance, listen to her, and treat her right..... You will die first. Enjoy it. I enjoyed the clip. I tapped the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
Hello, Wow, I would never have guessed. So if properly cared for a person should get years and years of life. I hope this 50 hangs in there, cylinder pressure is still good, reed valves seem good. Thanks for this info, nice to hear form the actual person that knows the test procedure. Great info and thanks so much for watching!
Excellent video....👍
Hello, hey, thanks so much for the nice comment! Hope to have more coming sometime soon. Thanks for watching!
Do you cast lures to catch fish? These look like great fishing spots. Use only a top water lure. Easy. Dependable. Convenient. And super fun. Nice clip. I tapped the thumbs up 👍 button to feed the algorithm monsters.
Hello, I have not tried a topwater lure. This is a great idea and I will definitely give it a shot. I've been using a variety of spoons and paddletails - but I should be catching more fish! Thanks for the info and advice, I will use it. Thanks for watching!
@ChristopherQuest If there are no fish.... NO bait will work....live, shiny, stinky... Top water is a good "find them" lure. There are times that a fish is NOT coming out of 20' of water to hit a surface lure. Most fish will. A catfish is NOT. A red fish will not more than 4'-5' .... They love them in shallow water. I look at top water like knitting. You cast and reel for about 10 minutes. If they're there, they will let you know. Lately.... surface walker lures are the most popular. It takes coordination to walk the lure, but mostly.... it takes EFFORT. I am lazy. I like a cup faced popper or a prop on the back (not front and back because it gets caught up in the front propeller). I like a heavy lure. Casts further. Little fish eat big lures. Big bait big fish. Go big. My favorite is Big Chug.... Then MirrOlure's "Mirro-prop" but take off the front prop. Not as heavy as I like.... but.. You can pop it, steady retrieve... troll. Pop-stop-reel-stop-pop... way easier than walking which is constantly twitch reel twitch reel.... Remember.... Once you catch one or two, they will "catch on" and stop being fooled. Then use your jig. They'll never catch on. Lastly ! Clamp down the barbs on ALL treble hooks. You won't lose fish. I promise. But they come out of the fish (if you're releasing), lines, clothes, seat cushions, etc but MOSTLY they come out of PEOPLE ! Trust me on this.... barbless. I do for jigs too. But not with bait. It will come off the hook. Artificial jig? Barbless. I only use artificial. All barbs get clamped before they get on my boat... ALL.
A great boat :)
Hello and thanks for the nice comment and thanks for watching! It's just as much fun getting her ready to go as taking her out. Thanks again

Such a sick setup man!
Hello, Thanks for the nice comment. Just an old guy having fun on the water. I plan to take it some new places in the near future. Thanks for watching!
I have the same boat.
Hello! I watched like all of your videos on the Saturn. I subscribed too. You helped influence my decision to buy. Cool that you found my videos. Thanks for watching!
@@ChristopherQuest awesome!!! I need to use mine more. I camped on St George Island in 2020. I used my Sea Eagle Explorer inflatable kayak. After watching your video I’m definitely going back to the island but taking my Saturn and camping.
Dude this is great! Love the RC camera drone! Haha!
lol, It was fun to send out the RC car..., I need to bring it along again. Also, It's great not worrying about the boat at night, rolling it up onshore is nice. Thanks again for watching!
Man that’s awesome! Love the boat tent!
Hello again - hey, when are you posting some new videos? You have a fun channel. Thanks for watching
So cool Chris, that was fun. Jinnie spotted an armadillo in the background on the beach!
Hello Dave! I will have to look for that, that's crazy. A short fun little camp out. Thanks again for watching!
Brother, I am planning to buy one in the future!! Here, Pinellas County, we have a honeymoon island park. It's definitely a place I would consider.. You know of it look on the map!!❤😂
Hello, I will definitely check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. These small baots are a lot of fun and fairly inexpensive. Hope to bring some more vids this summer. Thanks for watching!
Man, I would love to know where you live?? That way, I could see it up personally! I myself live in florida tampa saint pete area..😊
Hello again, I am in the Pensacola area of the ICW. Check out Big Lagoon Park and the National Seashore, beautiful area. Thanks again for watching!
Thank you for showing us!! I'm planning to buy one as well in the future!! Looking forward to see your future videos..😂
Hello, the ease and weight of the air floor is great. I can wheel this in where no paved boat ramps are available too. Thanks for watching!
Hey bro do you like that bris boat or your new Saturn 🪐 boat better ?
Hello, Honestly they both have their uses. The Bris has a more substantial feel with larger 18" tubes, 20hp and alum floor. The FB365 has an air floor, 9.9 engine, 16" tubes - much lighter and easier to tow and move on land. I prefer the larger tube diameter of the Bris, but I sure am sold on the air deck of the saturn for a dingy. You just can't beat the cost/value of either of these boats.
Perfection... :-)
Hi Jeff, a little crazy but a lot of fun. I think a tent on land is much easier. Thanks again for watching!
Looked like a great adventure!
Hello, It was a fun time, I like the idea of short overnight camping in the summer - enjoy the best times of the day. Thanks for watching!
How good is the Bris? When you bought it? TIA
Hello, I have used and abused the Bris for almost 4 years. I have removed the floor "once" just recently, always trailered. For the money- It is a great value, all air chambers heat welded and xtra thick PVC. There are better boats, but get out the cash! I have a lot of fun with this boat. I would buy another.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Just what I was looking to add to my T4. Have The Kelty Highroads Shelter, poles, and bungee on order. Can't wait to try out. Thanks again!!
Hello, I am happy to hear your trying it out. That is cool. I think you will like the set-up. The kelty is easy to set up and adds a lot. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

Hello and thank you for the nice comment! It does work pretty good. Thanks
What about arizona?
Hello Robert! Arizona! holy toledo, The dry climate should not be an issue, but the temperatures may be too much to overcome. I need to take this out to the real world and see what happens - heading out soon. Thanks fro watching!
Doesn’t the AC unit work in a special econo mode when linked to the power bank? Pretty sure a lot of UA-cam people showing this feature. As well would be a idea to use some thermal bubble wrap as insulation, expensive
Hello, I believe there is a 12v to 24v converter that will allow you to use a 12v power bank (better than using the 110v inverter). If there is a more econo-mode than sleep mode - I am interested to know about that.interesting idea as an option for insulated cover/walls, thanks for the suggestions! Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Keep in mind, you are going to be creating a load in the refrigerated space, so the temperature of the space will be higher than your recorded temperatures. I wonder about making a box to use the exhaust air to pre-cool the air going into the air conditioner. Also, you might have condensation accumulate/absorb into the insulating blankets. What a cool experiment...
Hi Jeff! Definitely if the intake for the cooled air comes from inside - recirculated air would be much more efficient to cool. - You are right about the heat - I have found that the compressor fan works pretty good at evacuating the internal heat. I will keep an eye on it for sure. The AC actually seems to dry the air, of course - still have to try in the real world! Thanks for watching! Hope all is good in PA.
Does the unit have a way to deal with the condensate? Drying the air -- believe it or not -- is also a large load to the system. Be careful to maintain enough oxygen in the tent. Stay awesome!
Once again, failure is not an option. Or ... If at first you do not succeed then try again. Very cool Chris. Oops.
Hey Dave! Yes, very cool! lol. I think some of my friends probably think I'm crazy on this one. The sleeping chamber - lol. It does work though - next video, the real world! Thanks again for watching!
Okay, I'm hooked. Gotta see the next one.
Hey Dave! I am getting part 3 edited now. lol, It is interesting anyway... Thanks again for your support!
Can't wait for the test. Better have extra blankets.
Hello, well, the first test went well, just not enough time! These batteries are too expensive... Oh well we figured it out in Part 3. Thanks for watching!
what'up. thanks~ really professional - goodbye,💥
Hello and thanks for the nice comment. Check out part 2, it's interesting! Thanks for watching!
Cool boat. I've been looking to get into sailing and initially dismissed the Macgregor, but the versatility looks great, especially for where I'd be sailing. How is it in waves? KCCO!
Hello! It does fairly well in waves actually. It is not the best sailor as it has a planing hull, but that gives it the versatility! Lots of options with this boat and you can find them at a reasonable price too. Thanks for watching!
Genius! Great video!
Hello and thanks for the nice comment! Maybe just a bit unusual, but it works great! Thanks for watching!
That's the cats ass! What's the dimensions on that air floor?
Great videos
Hello! Thanks for the nice comment and thanks for watching! Having fun!
I'm in the Biloxi area, not too far from you. I recently purchased a 26x that is already setup to sail. I have contemplated removing the mast and sails, but I'm on the fence. What fuel tanks do you have? I know you carry some extra fuel. How far can you make it motoring at 5-6 knots? I have a 60 Yamaha 4-stroke on my boat. I will be upgrading my fuel tanks for certain. Currently only have one 6-gallon tank.
Hello! I have two 9 gallon tanks that fit under the seats but needed to have some material removed to get them in. I also carry two 5 gallon cans when going any distance. I get very close to 20 miles with 9 gallons with my 50hp 2-stoke going at about 7 knots. I know, not too good. A four stoke should get way better mileage. You will have a blast with the boat, have a great summer! Check out my other videos and Thanks for watching!
Oh, I should also add I was pulling a dingy which hurts mileage a lot, but I always bring a dingy. Thanks!
@@ChristopherQuest Wow that is really good to know and much better than I expected. I know the waters tend to be shallow around the coast, but motoring allows you to stay relatively close in shallow waters (couldn't do that with the centerboard down). If you have any issue cellular service is easy and the dinghy can get you to shore. You're living the dream brother!
You need a bigger boat with all the gear you need !!
Hello Steve, You are so right! Way too much gear. Much better to minimize specifically to the day. I did however get a bigger boat! Please see my other videos of the Bris 14.1 and Macgregor 26X. Thanks for watching!
Very cool and fun to watch. I like the cutting board tip! I always learn something from your videos. Thank Chris.
Hello Dave, lucky I didn't crash the scooter! Upcoming - I will be the first beachcomber! Thanks again for watching!
How did it steer while in the water? Did you do a video on that? I set mine up with a Newport vessel steering triangle on my trolling motor and it didn't do well. On land it turned easy peasy but once the drag of the water the boat was all over the place. I ended up unhooking the bungee cords and steered the old fashioned way.
Hello, I did find that the best time to use it was only when traveling some distance, any type of real manuvering was best done like you said, the old fashioned way. I have a video on how I have mine set up, at the end there is a clip in the water steering with the seat. Thanks for watching!
have you tried rocker stoppers for the boat rolling?
Hello John! I actually do have a set of three on each side of the boat - attached to the winches on either side. They don't help so much with the initial rolling but do stop the longevity of the roll. I was going to try some anchor line tricks but didn't want to put the wind at the beam. Oh well, it was still fun. Thanks for watching!
try using dyneema line for holding the pole steady. strong stuff that dyneema.
Hello again John, This is a good idea, I will look into that for sure. The 1" wide straps seemed like a good idea, but not! Thanks for watching.
oh good your back at it again.
Yes, I am back, planning some other trips now, just have to have the weather and boats all participate. I do need to get back in the water too. Once again, thanks for watching.
Another great trip. Stay awesome!
Hi Jeff! Thanks for watching, still nothing like our real Florida jungle adventures and the pill box! We had such a gift there. Thanks again!

Thank you, and so very incredible to here from folks in Argentina. It is beautiful and thank you so much for watching!
Having fun now.
Hello Dave, finally getting back out there. Thanks once again for watching! (next video I break out an e-scooter - don't tell... lol)
Thanks for the good info. Can you share a link for the aluminum tube you got in place of the mast? Also on my 26x i plan to remove the cables from the stanchions and weld the same size stainless steel tubing as a sturdy rail to grab. I got the idea from the Mac forum.
Hello David, I added the link in the vid description area too. amzn.to/3wqjRBV Hmmm, cool idea on the stanchions - are you considering making them taller as well? Hey, thanks for watching! More to come
@@ChristopherQuest I'm planning to just run the stainless rail on top of the existing stanchions. Thank you for the aluminum pipe link. I am thinking I may be able to repair my broken mast with that pipe.
Happy to see you back out.😊
Hello and Thank you! The next video coming soon is much more... um.. humorous. Windy and rocky... Hey, Thanks for watching!
That was fun. Every time I have to rig some contraption I think of you. What would Chris do? Don't know but wish he was here. Take care and have fun. Gotta go make a sandwich.
